Serves four: 1 Yellow Turnip or Rutabaga, about 1 kilo (2.2 pounds) 2. Peel the potatoes and dice them aswell, put in the boiling pot and let them cook for another 15 minutes. Reserve 5 dl or 2.1 cups of the cooking water. 3. Mash the vegetables with masher or electric whisk, add butter and cooking water until texture is good. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with fried salty pork or sausage. |
